Improving Safety Culture in the Covid-19 Era

As Covid-19 pushes us into a new normal, there is an important call on health care leaders to renew their focus on safety culture.

A recent analysis of national safety culture data and trends has highlighted that despite great improvement from 2017 to 2019, safety culture scores declined in 2020. There is a downward trend particularly in areas related to staffing, job stress and organisational commitment.

Press Ganey has published a new research brief, Reverse the Trend: Improving Safety Culture in the Covid-19 Era. The brief outlines key-takeaways for Health Care Leaders and important strategies to improve your organisation’s safety culture and reverse the downward trend.
