Here are 7 ways to bring your vision to lifeInsync’s benchmarked Board Effectiveness Survey is designed to be completed by respondents in around 15 minutes. Insync has designed some additional modules that can be easily added to the survey and which can be easily completed within a couple of extra minutes.
Most boards don’t want an extensive review of their board committees but they do like to receive a scorecard in relation to the effectiveness of each Committee. Accordingly Insync has designed a simple Committee assessment module that can be added o the end of the Board Effectiveness Survey.
The Committee Assessment Module has two or three survey items in relation to each committee as well as an area for suggestions for improvement in each committee, all on one extra webpage. Once the survey is completed the Chair is provided with a Committee Effectiveness Scorecard that he or she can discuss with and provide to each Committee Chair.
Insync also caters for the boards that want a more detailed review of one or more committees. Insync has a benchmarked Audit and Risk Committee Survey, separate Audit Committee and Risk Committee Surveys and other committee surveys that form the basis for a very effective evidence based review of those committees. The reviews can be done in conjunction with interviews of committee members and with management that attend those committee meetings.
Many boards conduct a separate Director Effectiveness Survey at the same time as they conduct their board evaluation. Others prefer to include a Director Effectiveness Module at the end of their Board Effectiveness Survey and to provide each director with their own Director Effectiveness Scorecard.
