In recent years, he has played a key role in shaping strategy for water corporations across Australia. During the same period, Ian has supported numerous federal, state, and local government agencies in improving their performance through expertly designed diagnostics and the delivery of high-impact, actionable insights.

Ian played a pivotal role in transforming one of Tingwall’s most significant innovations—the Bill Simulator – from a prototype into a fully operational tool. This simulator has since become a key asset in helping water corporations assess customers’ willingness to pay, particularly in the context of pricing engagement studies.

Ian’s background includes 17 years at a predecessor firm that was acquired by Insync in 2017. In that role, Ian’s primary focus was employee engagement studies across all sectors, with a global survey spanning 14 languages, 15,000+ respondents and reporting in three languages among the highlights.
