ORGANISATIONS WE’VE PARTNERED WITH

The sector right now

A sector where staff experience and student outcomes are inseparable

Education organisations serve a broader range of stakeholders than almost any other sector. Educators, students, families, communities and funding bodies all have a stake in how an institution performs, and understanding what each group is experiencing is one of the more complex measurement challenges in any industry.

Workforce pressures are also acute. Teachers, early childhood educators, academics and support staff are motivated by purpose but vulnerable to burnout, and the connection between employee experience and student outcomes is well established. Insync works with education organisations that want the evidence to understand both, and the expertise to act on it.

What we hear from sector leaders

Four challenges every education leader recognises

These are the specific issues that principals, vice-chancellors, HR Directors, and early childhood directors regularly raise with us.

1

Understanding and improving staff engagement across diverse workforces

The education workforce spans teachers, academics, early childhood educators, support staff, and administrators, each with distinct drivers of engagement and pressures. Measurement that treats them as one group misses what matters most to each.

2

Capturing the experience of students, families and communities

Whether you are an early learning centre seeking to understand what families value, a school measuring student belonging, or a university tracking the student experience, the challenge is the same: designing a feedback program that captures genuine experiences and produces insights you can act on.

3

Sustaining culture and leadership through sector change

Education is navigating significant structural, regulatory and demographic change. Mergers, curriculum reform, funding shifts and workforce shortages are forcing institutions to adapt at a pace. Culture and leadership quality determine whether organisations navigate change well or poorly.

4

Demonstrating impact to boards, funders and regulators

Education organisations are increasingly required to demonstrate the quality of their outcomes, not just their processes. Boards, government funders and accreditation bodies want evidence. Structured, independent measurement provides it.

Common questions

Things sector leaders ask us

Do your benchmarks include education-specific data?

Yes. Our benchmark pool includes data from education organisations across early childhood, schools, TAFEs and universities. Your results are compared with those of institutions that face similar workforce dynamics, student experience expectations, and regulatory requirements to yours. We do not average your results against non-education organisations.

Can you design surveys for families, students, and staff?

Yes. Insync works across the full range of education stakeholders, from early childhood families and school communities through to university students and library users. Each program is designed for the specific audience and context, not adapted from a generic template.

We are an early childhood provider. Do you have specific expertise in that sub-sector?

Yes. Insync has worked with early childhood education and care providers for many years, including community-based services, long day care, family day care and school-age care. We understand the National Quality Standard, the regulatory environment and the specific measurement challenges of the early childhood context.
