Your results are never interpreted in a vacuum. Our extensive benchmark data provides meaningful comparisons with relevant organisations and sectors, helping you understand your results in context.
The people who get to know your organisation stay involved. From setup and reporting through to leadership debriefs and action planning, you work with a team that understands your context.
Your research is grounded in 25 years of validated methodology, with instruments calibrated to your sector rather than simply adapted from a generic template.
Our Australian-built survey and reporting technology gives you timely access to results, benchmark comparisons and the tools to explore what matters, backed by our own development team.
We do more than deliver results. Your consultant helps your leaders understand what the findings mean, identify what matters most and turn insight into practical priorities for improvement.

Frequently asked questions
Research and survey platforms are built for self-service. They provide an instrument, a dataset and a dashboard, and the work of interpretation, prioritisation and action is left to the organisation. For organisations with dedicated research capability and internal bandwidth, that can work well.
For most, it means investing in measurement and then not knowing what to do with the results. Reports are presented to leadership teams, and six months later the same issues remain because no one helped the organisation understand what to prioritise or how to act.
Insync is built differently. Every engagement includes a dedicated consultant who designs your program, contextualises your results against sector-specific benchmarks and works with your leadership team to determine what the data means and what to do first. The depth of expertise and continuity of the relationship separate Insync from a self-service platform.
It means your consultant has worked with organisations like yours before. They understand your regulatory context, workforce dynamics, sector benchmarks, and the pressures your leaders are navigating before the first conversation begins.
It means your research instrument is calibrated for your sector, not adapted from a generic template. The questions your staff, patients, clients or customers answer are the questions that matter in your specific context, validated against 25 years of sector-specific methodology.
It means your results are benchmarked against organisations that look like yours, not averaged across industries. When Insync tells you your employee engagement is in the top quartile, it means your employee engagement is in the top quartile of your sector peer group, not a global cross-industry average that tells you very little.
It means your debrief is contextualised. Your consultant does not read you a report. They tell you what the results mean for an organisation in your position, what the highest-value priorities are and what similar organisations have done to improve.
Most platforms offer benchmarks. The difference lies in what those benchmarks are built on.
Insync’s benchmark pool has been built over 25 years across more than 1,500 Australian organisations and 2.5 million survey responses. It is segmented by sector, so your results are compared with health organisations, community services organisations, or financial services firms, depending on who you are. Not a blended average across every organisation that happens to use the same platform.
This matters because sector context changes what good looks like. A 72% employee engagement score means something very different in aged care than it does in professional services. Without sector-specific benchmarks, you are trying to compare results that are not comparable.
Insync’s benchmarks are also longitudinal. Because we have measured the same sectors consistently for 25 years, we can tell you not just how you compare to peers today, but how the sector has shifted over time and where trends are heading.
Your first conversation is with an account manager who specialises in your sector. They support your relationship throughout the engagement, not just at the start.
The consultant who designs your program, interprets your results and delivers your debrief is assigned based on their sector expertise. If you are a health organisation, your consultant has experience working in the healthcare sector. If you are a community services provider, your consultant understands the funding environment, workforce pressures, and the sector’s specific measurement challenges.
You will know who is working on your project before it begins, and that person will be in the room when you present results to your leadership team.
This is where most research programs fall short, and where Insync’s model differs from most.
After your program closes, your consultant analyses results in the context of your sector benchmarks and your organisation’s specific situation. They produce a report that does not just describe the data. It prioritises it. You will understand which areas to focus on first, not a list of findings ranked by statistical significance.
The debrief is a working session, not a presentation. Your leadership team leaves with a shared understanding of the results and a clear sense of what to address first.
From there, the level of ongoing involvement depends on what is most useful for your organisation. Some clients want a single action planning session. Others want ongoing advisory support over the course of months. We work with you to the extent required to produce results.
Insync’s survey and research platform is proprietary, built and maintained by our own development team rather than licensed from a third-party provider. This means it can be configured to your structure, reporting lines, and specific needs without the constraints of an off-the-shelf product.
Your reporting portal gives you access to results as they become available, with benchmarked comparisons, demographic filters, and action-planning tools built in.All data is stored and managed within Australia. Insync complies with the Australian Privacy Act and applies consistent security practices across its platform. Your data is not shared with third parties, not used for purposes beyond your engagement and not aggregated into benchmark pools without explicit permission. Your data remains onshore.
