Responsibility beyond our work
At Insync, doing great work for our clients has always been the foundation. But we also believe a business with the capacity to create broader social impact has a responsibility to act on it. The commitments on this page reflect that belief.
our PURPOSE pledgeUsing our business as a force for good
Insync is a Profit for Purpose business through our partnership with Pro Purpose, a movement of Australian businesses that intentionally direct a percentage of their revenue towards charitable impact.
Every month, a percentage of Insync’s sales goes directly towards purposeful, targeted social impact. We chose this direction because we believe that a business with the capacity to create positive change has a responsibility to do so.
Where our giving goes“We create a positive impact with our clients and are now in a position to create purposeful, positive social impact that extends beyond our clients and their communities. We want to ensure the efforts are directed towards meaningful and targeted outcomes because we believe that social impact is essential for building a more equitable, inclusive and sustainable world where all individuals have the opportunity to lead fulfilling lives.”
– Jeremy Summers, CEO, Insync
Supporting First Nations youth cultural leadership
Our purpose pledge supports the First Nations Youth Cultural Leadership Program, a community-led development approach that recognises the strengths, leadership, knowledge and expertise of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals in developing solutions to complex challenges.
We chose this program deliberately. It focuses on creating lasting impact in the lives of First Nations children and young people, their families, and communities across Australia. The program is adaptive and driven by the communities it serves, which sets it apart from traditional philanthropic approaches.
With more than half of our team born outside Australia, our connection to the First Nations Youth Project also gives us an opportunity to learn, to deepen our understanding of First Nations people and culture as we contribute to their communities.
Giving our team the space to contribute
Social responsibility at Insync is not only about where our revenue goes. It is also about what we make possible for the people who work here.
Each year, every Insync staff member receives paid volunteer leave, time set aside specifically to get involved in the causes they care about. We believe that a team empowered to contribute to their communities brings that same sense of purpose and investment into everything they do at work.
Insync acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work and live. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across Australia.
