Nicholas is a business leader and visionary with over three decades experience in the corporate sector serving in a range of roles including director, consultant and chair of both large and medium sized companies, national and international. He is executive chair of Insync, Board Benchmarking and Board Surveys, a former partner of KPMG, a former chair of Ansvar Insurance, First Samuel and Ambit Group and a former director of Mission Australia.
Recognising a gap in board optimisations, Nicholas co-founded Insync to share his frontline experience and passion for improving board, and organisational, performance and effectiveness because “better boards = better organisations”. He is the lead at Insync and since its launch has conducted in excess of 200 board reviews for a range of organisations in a variety of sectors including Aruma, Chartered Accountants ANZ, Dexus, Ecumenical Schools Australia, Federation University, GrainCorp, Green Collect, HESTA, NAB, Red Hill Football Netball Club, Royal Women’s Hospital, Suburban Land Agency, Theta Edge Berhad and World Vision, to name a few.
Nicholas has authored three books on leadership, culture, engagement and transformational change. He is also a public speaker and expert media commentator in governance, organisational culture and gender diversity.
