We have a unique opportunity to learn from the lived experience of the people most affected by the COVID-19 crisis patients and healthcare workers. Their feedback will help us determine how effective aspects of our response to the pandemic have been and will contribute to national and global learning.
Insync is the Asia Pacific licensee for Press Ganey, the largest global health research and consulting company. Together, we have developed:
a suite of short COVID 19 tools for evaluating the experiences of patients and healthcare workers; and
accompanying support resources to facilitate prompt and positive responses to evolving healthcare challenges
Insync can implement the COVID-19 tools across various care settings and provide healthcare organisations with online access to real time feedback from their patients and healthcare workers.
We can also provide a research paper outlining insights based on national and international trends. This information will tell us what aspects of our healthcare response to the pandemic have been successful, what we should do differently and continue to carry forward as new models of care, and what learning we can pass on to future generations.
The COVID-19 suite of survey tools
Telehealth (includes general practice, mental health and outpatient services)
COVID-19 testing (includes fever clinics, drive through testing etc.)
The Insync-Press Ganey COVID-19 survey suite was designed by research and analytics scientists and psychologists to be used across a variety of healthcare settings.
The surveys are distributed online and provide a brief, but comprehensive picture of where, and to what degree, there has been an impact on patients and workers across the healthcare sector throughout the pandemic.

Telehealth has become a vital service to patients and the community. Our online Telehealth survey tools have been designed by research and analytics scientists and psychologists to assess general practice, mental health and outpatient services.
The Telehealth surveys cover key areas of patient experience to determine if safe, high quality and compassionate care is being delivered. These key survey domains and some sample survey items are:
The COVID-19 testing survey assesses the patient experience of a testing centre or fever clinic with a brief but comprehensive online tool. It covers topics that would be of highest interest to both patients and clients, for example: safety and communication.
Sample items
Ease of obtaining testing for COVID-19
Cleanliness of the testing area
Staff explanation of the COVID-19 test
Staff response to your questions and worries
Staff explanation of how you would receive your test results
The impacts of Coronavirus (COVID-19) are simply unprecedented, with far reaching effects on healthcare workers.
With this in mind, Insync’s team of psychologists developed our “In-Touch” healthcare worker wellbeing pulse survey. The survey is hosted by Insync and empowers healthcare workers to be honest and candid about how they are feeling in the current environment.
Healthcare leaders can:
gain insights into the lived experience of their teams
monitor this experience as the situations evolves via regular pulses
respond in real time to issues and concerns raised
